Even though we didn't have any lecture exams this week, it was still pretty busy. My schedule now is (basically) 8 AM to 5 PM every day, with a few gaps on a couple days of the week, so that leaves little room during the day to study. So I tend to stay at school until sometime between 6:30 - 7:30 PM every day to study, practice techniques, or to do other school-related tasks.

Winter quarter is always a weird quarter. We have two breaks, one during Thanksgiving (one week) and another during the Christmas holiday (2.5 weeks). It really stretches out the quarter and even worse, finals will be a real pain because in February we'll have to remember material all the way back in November! But it's nice also because winter quarter is going to be super tough (as I mentioned earlier). A double edged sword, I guess? I'll be relaxing, playing golf, and spending time with family this week so until I get back to the grind, stay tuned!

Phew, finals are done!!! It was pretty much two grueling weeks of nonstop studying with proficiencies and exams thrown in between. And I must say that two of those finals (Ocular Physiology and Sensory Vision) are among the two hardest exams I've ever taken in my life!!! Thank goodness it's all over. So this weekend I made sure to decompress and relax a bit because Winter Quarter is going to be CRAZY!!!
